A fresh, clean surface is ready for paint!



But not just any paint.  Sherwin William's Duration was chosen.  They don't even call it a paint--it's a covering, and guaranteed for as long as you own your home.  We chose "Site White" for the base color and "Network Gray" for the doors.



A third color, "Web Gray," was selected for the trim.



We are still making decisions about specifics such as the columns:  dark or light?  The porch floor is now painted the darker gray and more changes will come as we tweak our color choices.  A fourth color will be added as an accent on certain surfaces as we paint the rest of the house. 



Since the entire house will be painted next year, we'll paint the final coat on the porch at that time.



After much repair, sanding, and preparation, the porch's face lift looks fresh.  New lighting and hardware has been ordered and will be installed soon.
